Specialty Underglaze Products
Fun Strokes
Fun Strokes are a full range of vibrant colors formulated for bisque application. This two-in-one product gives you the benefit of using 1 coat coverage for translucent effect and 2-3 coats of color for opaque coverage. All colors are Non-Toxic and easy to use.
Benefits:

Product Preparation: Shake well, squeeze out desired amount.
Ware Preparation: Apply to shelf cone 04 bisque. Sponge ware to remove dust and imperfections.
Application:
Apply 1 coat for translucent coverage; apply 3-4 coats for opaque coverage. They may be brushed, sponged, spattered, stippled, or stenciled. They can also be used for marbleizing and antiquing. Apply clear glaze over Fun Strokes before firing.
Firing Range:
Shelf cone 06. Most colors will fire to shelf cone 5, with little to no color change. Please be sure to test the colors before applying to projects.
Possible Problems:
Rough surface after firing - insufficient glaze coverage.
Color disappears - Not enough color used. Can occur more frequently with pastel colors.
Color fired shades lighter - Underfired glaze.
Popping off or shivering - Underfired bisque, dust or grease on ware.

Flecks running – Clear glaze too thick or heavy on the piece or kiln fired too hot
Flecks fall off into clear dipping glaze – Piece was not allowed to dry thoroughly or handled roughly during the dipping process.
